The Retrospecs collection consists of vintage frames, predominantly from the 1920's to 1940's. These frames are all gold-filled, and most are available in both traditional gold as well as white gold. The frames were made during the 1920's to 1940's, and are all refurbished with updated lens shapes. Each frame was originally crafted using gold, but Retrospecs has added white gold through a layering process. The frames are stronger than most gold frames due to the gold-filled process many of the frames were made with.

Retrospecs & Co also produces newly manufactured Buffalo Horn frames that feature a gold inlay from a vintage frame that could not be repaired.

Each of our stores carries a unique collection of these vintage frames, featuring frames from American Optical circa 1940, vintage Raybans from the 1920's, and more. For a truly authentic pair of vintage frames, the Retrospecs collection should be at the top of mind, as each frame is warranted from defects and parts can be ordered.
